THTRE 3600 Tap 3

Tap 3 builds on the foundation of Tap 2. It is an intermediate/advanced level tap class that reviews tap dance techniques, specifically tap dance in musical theatre. Students will be given more challenging tap vocabulary, learn to implement and execute these steps, and begin to recognize these terms and steps in musical theatre choreography and combinations. Introduction to improv within tap dance will be incorporated. This course may be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: THTRE-2600 or prerequisite waiver from the instructor.
