Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy

Departments/Programs:

The AI Literacy minor is designed for any student interested in developing their AI skills. The minor does not require any technical experience, coding, or AI background. Courses in the minor will provide hands-on experience with various AI platforms and how to use iterative prompting for enhancing human decision making and design in innovative yet ethical and socially responsible ways. This program will fully equip interested students with the expertise they need to thrive in today’s competitive job market.

This minor is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities. All courses within the program are delivered by faculty employed by partner institutions in the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.

Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Nebraska Wesleyan University. Students register through Nebraska Wesleyan University and receive academic credit from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
