Modern Language Literacy

The Modern Language Literacy minor is comprised of two elements: Language Concentration and Modern Language Studies Electives.

Modern Language Literacy Minor (16 hours)
Language Concentration - Select One	12 hours
French
12 hours of MFREN at the 2000, 3000 or 4000 level.
German
12 hours of MGRMN at the 2000, 3000 or 4000 level.
Japanese
12 hours of MJPAN at the 2000, 3000 or 4000 level.
Spanish
12 hours of MSPAN at the 2000, 3000 or 4000 level.
Other Language
Select courses in another language, as approved by Department Chair.

2. Modern Language Studies Electives	4 hours
Credits may be earned in any Modern Languages departmental course (MFREN/MGRMN/ MJPAN/MLANG/MSPAN) that is not counted toward the 12 hours of 2000/3000/4000 credit for the Language of Concentration.
