MSPAN 3880 Spanish For Professions I

MSPAN 3880 Spanish for the Professions I is a dual-level course designed for students at the intermediate/advanced levels interested in increasing specialized vocabulary in Spanish and learning cross-cultural practices and etiquette to communicate with Spanish speakers in a variety of professional contexts. Specific content will vary and may include the following topics as either discrete units or overall course themes: science and technology, business and commerce, healthcare and social services, diplomacy, performing arts, and the environment.
Instruction is in Spanish. MSPAN 3880 meets with MSPAN 4880 with differentiated assignment lengths and expectations by level. This course may be repeated.
Prerequisite(s): 6 credits of MSPAN coursework at 3000 level.
