NURS 3510 Death and Dying: Nurses’ Personal Attitudes and the Impact on Nursing Practice

This course will explore legal, ethical, and personal issues that promote understanding of a dying patient and familial needs. Personal growth of the nurse based upon the discovery of individual beliefs, values, and details, regarding death preparation will be explored. Discussion, online lectures, and a variety of activities will be used to enhance learning.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to BSN program and junior standing.
