MUSIC 2710 Music Prod W/digital Audio Workstations

This is a 3-credit Creative and Performing Arts Elective course, designated Exploratory Experiential Learning, situated in the Innovation thread for all students, regardless of prior musical experience. In this project-based class, you will learn the capabilities of a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) as you go through the process of creating music for different scenarios. You as the student will drive the learning and the creating of your own music and the teacher will act as a facilitator or coach toward the end goal of musical production. There are no prerequisites to take this course. You will need your own computer for this course (either Mac or PC is fine). Smart phones and tablets do not count. Other electronics, instruments, and materials will be provided as needed.
