MGRMN 3280 Cultures Of German-speaking World I

MGRMN 3280/4280 Cultures of the German-Speaking World I is a dual-level course designed for students at the intermediate/advanced levels that introduces German cultures through authentic German language materials. Content may be organized by region, time period, or themes such as diversity of people and geography, history, politics, education, religion, the arts, and daily life. By exploring culture through various forms, students will engage with diverse perspectives and deepen their understanding of the German-speaking world. Instruction is in German, MGRMN 3280 meets with MGRMN 4280 with differentiated assignment lengths and expections by level. This course may be repeated. Prequisite: 6 credits of MGRMN 2000-level courses or appropriate placement.
