MSPAN 3480 Literature In Spanish-spk World I

MSPAN-3480/4480: Literature in the Spanish-Speaking World I is a dual-level course designed for students at the intermediate/advanced levels and introduces topics in Spanish and Latin American literature. Content may be organized by region, time period, theme(s), and/or genre(s) such as the contemporary Spanish novel, adolescent literature, US Hispanic literature and society. Latin American short stories, memory in comics and graphic novels, contemporary women writers, and survey of Spanish literature. Instruction in Spanish. MSPAN meets with MSPAN-4480 with differential assignment lengths and expectations by level. This course may be repeated. Prerequisite: 6 credits of MSPAN courses at the 3000-level.
