ARH 3400 Baroque And Rococo Art

Art and architecture primarily in western Europe from 1600 to about 1780 will be considered with primary concentration on the great masters of the era: Caravaggio, Bernini, Rubens, and Rembrandt. Cultural dynamics as they are reflected and affected by the visual arts will be discussed. Prerequisite(s): Art History 1020 or permission of the instructor.
