MSPAN 4280 Culture Of Spain: Speaking World I (2 hours)
MSPAN 4280 Cultures of the Spanish-Speaking World I is a dual-level course designed for students at the intermediate/advanced levels that introduces Hispanic cultures through authentic Spanish-language materials. Content may be organized by region, time period, or themes, such as diversity of people and geography, history, politics, education, religion, the arts, and daily life. By exploring culture through various forms, students will engage with diverse perspectives and deepen their understanding of the Spanish-speaking world. Instruction is in Spanish. MSPAN 3280 meets with MSPAN 4280, with differentiated assignment lengths and expectations by level. This course may be repeated. Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor.
