THTRE 3750 Patterning and Draping

This course provides an introduction to the creation and manipulation of patterns for fashion and costume design. Students will learn basic techniques for drafting, flat-patterning, draping on a dressform, and making adjustments to a basic sloper. Each student will assemble a portfolio documenting skills learned during the semester.

Prerequisite: THTRE 1410 Costume Construction
