THTRE 4990 Senior Capstone

Senior Capstone functions as the culminating experience for theatre majors, focusing on the integration, synthesis, and application of cumulative knowledge and facilitating the transition from undergraduate study to professional practice. Professional presentation and writing skills comprise the primary components of this course which entails developing mate for an industry-oriented showcase intended to introduce students' work to agents, casting directors, managers, and other theatre professionals. Instruction emphasizes the selection and refinement of showcase repertoire, creation of professional digital materials, preparation of headshots and resumes, participation in mock auditions, and development of professional interviewing skills. Senior Capstone should be taken during the fall semester of the student's last year in residence at Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Prerequisite(s): Theatre major with senior standing or instructor permission of a prerequisite waiver.
