PSYCH 2750 Forensic Psychology

This course introduces students to forensic psychology and its intersection with the legal system. Topics include criminal behavior, mental health and the law, investigative and legal psychology, eyewitness memory, jury decision-making, victimology, correctional psychology, and the role of psychologists in legal settings. Through case studies, research, and discussion, students will examine how psychology deepens our understanding of criminal justice and legal processes. 

Prerequisite: PSYCH 1010FYW Introduction to Psychological Science, PSYCH 1010 Introduction to Psychological Science, or CRIM 1010 Introduction To Criminal Justice.
