EDUC 3130 Educational Assessments: Secondary

This course examines both informal, teacher-made assessments and formal, standardized testing instruments used to evaluate children and youth across multiple curriculum areas. Students learn to design assessment tools, administer and score standardized tests, and interpret results for educational decision-making. A primary emphasis is placed on effective assessment practices for the identification and support of students with disabilities. 

Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Teacher Education Program or special permission is required.
