BIO 1010 Perspectives in Biological Science

Designed for non-science majors, this general education course will examine the principles of biology within the context of the human experience and covers cell biology, physiology, genetics, evolution, ecology, and the interaction of humankind and the environment. Course content will be offered in a variety of formats including but not limited to: lectures in person or online, laboratory experience, group activities discussion-based activities, and opportunities to use Al-supported and other research tools to and and evaluate biological information. Does not count toward a biology major. (Normally offered at least once per academic year.)
